VP, Program Development
Description
Cornerstone is partnering with a successful and rapidly growing Boston-based biopharma. Our client (multi-billion market cap, and extremely well-funded) retained us to recruit a Vice President, Program Development as they go through their most critical stage of growth. Their culture embodies the biotech mindset and they require the same patient/science driven urgency in everyone that joins the team.
Our client is looking for a dynamic Program Development executive that thrives in a smaller company environment, ready to explode with growth – someone that has strong emotional intelligence and executive presence that also likes to be collaborative, drive strategy, and get their hands dirty.
You will have responsibility for all program development/leadership across their most critical/advanced asset, which is a “pipeline within a product”, to include critical decision-making across the asset/product life-cycle. Collaborate closely with the executive team and sit on critical committees that drive strategy and development.

Qualifications / Requirements
- MD, PhD or PharmD required.
- 10+ years of program development leadership experience within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry ideally with tenure in both larger pharma and smaller/growing biotech.
- Just as critical as the specific experience is the candidate’s ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization (including C-suite and Board)
- Experience within Immunology/Inflammatory diseases is required.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced/dynamic culture.
