Cornerstone Search Group’s HEOR/Market Access Practice is pleased to have been retained by a leading Boston-area global biotech renowned for its willingness to take scientific risks, successfully launching multiple breakthrough medicines, attracting top talent, and providing generous benefits. Our client is seeking an experienced (SD/ED/VP) and technically strong HEOR leader with business acumen and high EQ for a newly-created, high-profile Therapeutic Area Head position that will build out a team to focus on a basket of clinical stage assets in a high-profile therapeutic area, including several molecules with first-in-class and blockbuster potential.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as TA Lead for high-profile franchise with multiple attractive clinical-stage assets
  • Build out a team
  • Develop HEOR strategy for therapeutic area assets from early development through to product lifecycle
  • Serve as the HEOR TA lead to cross-functional and cross-regional teams
  • You and your team will design and execute deliverables including evidence generation plans, economic models (e.g., CEA, BIM, local model adaptation), observational studies, ITCs, PRO development, global value dossiers, and the integration of HEOR evidence into HTA submissions

Qualifications / Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES / BEHAVIORS:

  • Strong technical training in relevant HEOR discipline (economics, outcomes research, epi, statistics, etc.)
  • Ideally 15+ years of industry HEOR experience with strong people management experience (ideally including Directors and Senior Directors)
  • US and Global experience
  • Strong understanding of clinical development (strategies and trial designs)
  • Market access related experience (e.g., HTA submissions)
  • Strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals demonstrating experience in economic modeling and/or observational research / RWE and/or COA / PRO
  • Our client is open on therapeutic areas of experience
  • High emotional intelligence coupled with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
