Director, Global HEOR | Direct Reports | “Game Changing” 1st-in-Class Asset | Global Launches | Top Boston Pharma

Cornerstone Search Group’s HEOR/Market Access Practice is pleased to have been retained by a leading Boston-area pharmaceutical company renowned for operating at the forefront of scientific innovation, successfully launching multiple breakthrough medicines, and having top-notch talent. They are seeking a high EQ HEOR professional for a newly-created critical global HEOR leadership position with direct reports that will define and implement the global HEOR strategies for the anticipated US and global launches of a high-profile, “game-changing,” first-in-class asset projected to be a multi-blockbuster. The HEOR team works cross-functionally and across regions to envision, create, and communicate HEOR evidence (including a particular focus on COA / PRO for this program) to support the value of this and future follow-up assets for reimbursement and healthcare payers across all stages of the product lifecycle.

Location

LOCATION: Boston Metro Area (on-site or hybrid). Three days/week on-site is required.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL:

  • Lead and execute US/Global HEOR and COA/PRO strategies
  • People management
  • Serve as the HEOR lead on cross-functional teams to ensure that global HEOR strategic plans reflect the input of key stakeholders and are aligned with commercial, clinical, medical, RWE, and market access plans
  • Oversee evidence generation, including CEAS and BIMs, prospective and retrospective observational studies, ITCs, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, PRO measure development and validation, and other research as needed to support the asset value.
  • Expedite market access with optimal pricing globally by supporting local model adaptations and HTA submissions to ensure accurate, consistent, and effective use of HEOR evidence.

Qualifications / Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES / BEHAVIORS:

  • MA/MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or MD
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in health economics, outcomes research, PRO / COA, or a directly related field.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus, but candidates with demonstrated leadership capabilities will also be considered.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Global experience (e.g., HTA submission).
  • Our client is open to therapeutic areas of experience.
  • High emotional intelligence ( EQ ) coupled with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
