Cornerstone Search Group has been retained by a successful New Jersey pharmaceutical company that we know from the people we've helped them previously hire has a very strong work culture and is very patient centric. We are partnering with them this time for an Associate Director of Marketing position that will have a strong focus on patient marketing activities for a rare disease treatment. This can be an ideal career opportunity to gain rare disease and patient marketing experience as our client prioritizes cultural fit and passion for the patient.

(1) Gain Rare Disease Experience: Our client is comfortable hiring an individual that would like to gain rare disease experience as long as the person is passionate about the patient.
(2) Hybrid Work Arrangement: Our client has a hybrid work arrangement. You will only need to work on-site 2 or 3 days per week. Fortunately, they are conveniently centrally located in New Jersey, making it a feasible commute for people who live in NY/NYC and PA too.

LOCATION: Our client is based in the Bridgewater, New Jersey Metropolitan Area, which is in the center of New Jersey’s Pharmaceutical Corridor. For the 2 or 3 days you will work on-site, their location is within driving distance from most of New Jersey as well as from Pennsylvania and New York (Rockland, Westchester, New York City).
ROLE SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Significantly contribute to the development of strategies, tactics, and messaging that will optimize the product’s benefits and differentiate it from competitors.
- While you will work across the full range of Marketing activities, a strong focus will be on patient marketing.
- Lead in the development of materials and training for speaker programs and ensure their successful execution.
- Identify the optimal content and mix for digital and social marketing.
- Fuel growth by understanding and acting upon key customer insights through your analysis of market data and market research.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCES / BEHAVIORS:
- 3+ years of related pharmaceutical marketing experience with 5+ years of overall professional experience overall desired. Out client will also consider an experienced current AD or Director for a Director title.
- Rare disease experience is not required, but passion for the patient is.
- Seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and strategic individual who is transparent, builds trusting relationships, and desires to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.
- The ability to continuously analyze the market and adjust direction/focus as needed.
- BA/BS required.
