Cornerstone Search Group has been retained by a mid-size, science-driven pharmaceutical company for a newly-created Associate Director of HEOR & RWE position based in New Jersey. This AD will be responsible for leading a high-profile, first-in-class biologic platform asset featuring a recent FDA BLA approval and additional indications being pursued. You will report directly to a highly accomplished and personable Head of HEOR & RWE that we know is a very good mentor from the multiple people we’ve previously helped her hire.

Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is an HEOR & RWE Lead position for a first-in-class, high-profile biologic platform portfolio. You will lead strategy development and execution of RWE (Real World Evidence) & HEOR (Health Economics & Outcomes Research) plans. You will be responsible for demonstrating the product/portfolio value by working with a cross-functional team from Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Legal and Compliance to:
- Develop and implement economic models, outcome evidence, and integrated value dossiers to demonstrate value
- Ensure compliant, evidence-based medicine data generation and strategy to support sound principles for economic and PRO assessments and value proposition development
- Manage multiple RWE/HEOR related projects, budgets, and associated resources.
- Identify, select, and manage external vendors and consultants.
- Oversee the acquisition of third party databases and manage subsequent analyses
- Develop RWE/HEOR publications plan and materials supporting product use and reimbursement, including presentations and manuscripts
- Partner with Commercial and Medical leadership and cross-functional colleagues to support product value propositions that will optimize patient access and reimbursement
- Implement research projects including registry, database analysis, chart reviews, systematic literature reviews, and economic models
- Manage the integration of economic and QoL parameters into company-sponsored clinical study endpoints to support value demonstration
- Initiate and maintain relationships with external HEOR Thought Leaders
DESIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / BEHAVIORS:
- MS, MPH, MPharm, PharmD, or PhD in HEOR, Economics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Math, Public Health, or other disciplines related to HEOR and RWE
- Ideally 3+ years of HEOR/RWE experience in either academic research, or for an agency/consultancy, or with a pharma/biotech company
- Experience with HEOR data sources and analytical methods
- Knowledge of real world evidence generation and/or economic modeling and/or PROs (patient reported outcomes)
- Seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and strategic individual who is transparent, builds trusting relationships, and has the desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and entrepreneurial environment
