Summary
Cornerstone Search Group has been retained by a well-funded, growing Oncology Biotech with a patient and people-focused culture that is actively developing novel targeted therapies.
The Vice President of Translational Medicine will have strategic oversight across all Translational Science/Medicine (discovery through late-stage development). The VP will lead a diverse and talented team while also collaborating cross-functionally with executives and other key internal and external stakeholders.

As such, they are looking for a well-rounded leader with a strong scientific and technical background in oncology translational medicine who can also develop, implement, and effectively communicate projects/strategies across the organization and externally.
You will report to a very strong, well-rounded Chief Development Officer who prides themselves on being collaborative while also letting their people think outside the box and take calculated risks.

Responsibilities
Qualifications/Requirements:
- PhD, MD or PharmD is required.
- 10-15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, including 7-10+ years in Translational Medicine.
- Successful track record in leading Translational Medicine activities for multiple programs across all stages of development.
