Vice President, Clinical Development for Post-Marketed Programs | Top 20 Global BioPharma | Boston Area

SUMMARY:

This is a very unique VP, Clinical Leadership & Medical Strategy role with a Global Top 20 Biopharma company where you will lead a team of 7 MD’s (physicians) to plan and conduct required strategic post-marketed studies across various Therapeutic Areas consisting of over 100_ approved and marketed products. The emphasis of this role is to lead, manage and develop your team of MDs/Physicians, and provide them with support, advice, and guidance for Clinical Development activities. Additionally, the emphasis is to provide advice and guidance to the various Therapeutic Area Product Leaders about how to best plan, design, and execute the various required and strategic post-marketed clinical studies for their products.

You will be joining a Top 15 Industry Leader and a Company that has one of the most expansive Marketed Product pipelines in the industry. This company is very profitable, and it is very strategically and aggressively expanding its pipeline to include many novel therapies to treat major diseases in its Therapeutic Areas of focus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD degree
  • Strong clinical development experience, especially late-stage clinical development
  • Direct Management experience (i.e. have managed a team of M.D’s in the past)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience across various Therapeutic Areas (preferred)
