US President & Commercial Head | Fully-integrated Generic Pharma Start-up | Anywhere in USA: RETAINED SEARCH

Cornerstone Search Group has been retained by a successful international company which is seeking a President / Commercial Head for their newly-created, fully-integrated, finished dosage generics division which is launching first in the US. The President will have the opportunity in this hands-on role to quickly grow a product portfolio of pills / tablets / capsules / liquids / creams that have the competitive advantages of using, when applicable, the parent company’s own product development, API, and/or manufacturing capabilities. Our client is looking for a strong commercial/sales leader that can leverage their already proven network across key US wholesale distribution channels in order to develop and grow their varied product portfolio. Our client will compensate competitively as well as craft incentive packages so that you can grow as the company grows.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Senior-level Commercial/Sales experience within the OSD generics space for the type of products that are distributed via the major drug wholesalers.
  • Proven network contacts within the US wholesale distribution channels.
  • While they are not requiring hands-on experience in development or manufacturing, it would be a plus if you have an understanding of Product Development and Technical/Manufacturing concepts as well as are knowledgeable about CDMOs for products that might not make sense to develop or manufacture in-house.
  • Our client is seeking an individual who yearns to grow a business from the ground up, contribute their product development ideas, and has a vision on how to complement and expand upon strong internal IP as well as how to intelligently/creatively expand the current product portfolio.
  • Must be a hands-on leader, collaborative, and a creative thinker.

Location: As this is a start-up division, our client is comfortable with this person being located anywhere in the USA.
