US Commercial Head (SVP/VP, Sales): Work from Home – Diverse Generic Pharma – Build Department: RETAINED SEARCH

Cornerstone has been Retained by growing Global Specialty Generics Pharma company that is going through substantial expansion across Generics, NCEs and Biosimilars.  Given this expansion, they are seeking a strong Commercial/Sales leader to guide them through strategic development and growth, both internally and externally.  As the Head of Commercial, you will have ownership across the entire internal portfolio and will report directly to the President.  Our client will give the incumbent the ability to design and build the Sales/Commercial department and strategy as they see fit, ultimately growing a world-class team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a strategic vision for the Sales/Commercial organization.
  • Build a team of highly functioning Sales/Commercial professionals to include promoting growth, creativity, accountability and success.
  • Responsible for the departmental budget, timeline and resource planning.
  • Manage all activities of a national sales organization to ensure compliance and a positive vision and culture.
  • Analyze and interpret sales data to make informed decisions moving forward to implement best practices.
  • Understand and adapt to trends within Sales, Marketing and Managed Markets.
  • Interact effectively across the Executive team to include cross-functional management.

Education & Experience:

  • 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience to include extensive Sales/Commercial experience across the Generics industry landscape.
  • Bachelor degree.
  • Experience in managing and building highly functional Sales/Commercial teams.
