Sr. Medical Director, Oncology | GCL for Important 1st-In- Class Therapy Advancing to Ph 3 | NYC Area: RETAINED SEARCH

POSITION SUMMARY:

This highly visible Sr. Medical Director will lead the critical later-stage clinical development for a Novel and 1st-in-class personalized cancer therapy where the current Standard-of-Care (SoC) is not effective. You will lead the later-stage clinical development for this novel therapy’s first indication and its ensuing FDA filing (i.e. lead the medical aspects of the NDA filing, and HA interactions), and you will then lead this important asset’s subsequent studies for additional indications as a mono and combination therapy. You will matrix manage and direct a team of MDs/Physicians and a multi-functional Global Development Team too. This is a very attractive role for an M.D. & seasoned/talented drug developer to lead a major Phase 3 study, NDA filing and Global Drug Development Team to bring this very important personalized cancer therapy to the bedside of many cancer patients’ beside safely and swiftly.

LOCATION: NYC Metro Area (HQ is in a convenient/commutable location from NYC, NY State, and many NJ areas)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • M.D. Hematologist/Oncologist, Board Certification is a plus
  • Strong oncology clinical development experience gained working in industry
  • Later-stage clinical development experience is highly preferred
  • NDA filing/submissions experience is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills (i.e. oral communications, writing and presentation skills)
  • Leadership experience where you have directly or indirectly led/managed other professionals
