Global Program Leader (Exec Dir Level) | Ph 3/Later-Stage Programs | Top Global Rare Disease Co | Boston or Remote (Home Based)


You will be the Global Program Leader and the “go to” person that Sr. Executive and Therapeutic Area Leadership communicate with for key information about the strategies, plans, status/progress, etc. for the Multiple Later-Stage Development Programs for one of this Top Global Rare Disease’s Co’s assets.

You will be the key person looking at the clinical development, regulatory filing, manufacturing, launch, commercialization and more from a 30,000 foot view to successfully plan, execute, identify and mitigate/eliminate/manage risks and more to ensure swift clinical development, regulatory filings and commercialization of this highly-innovative/complex rare disease asset to treat multiple indications.

This is a very attractive role for an accomplished industry professional with a wide breadth of knowledge about the what, why, when and how things should be planned out to successfully plan, organize, execute and manage the multiple global functions to progress a Program/Asset from early to later-stage Clinical Development through to Launch without being the Subject Matter Expert/SME in all functional areas involved/contributing to the development, filing, approval, commercialization & LCM of the asset. You will enjoy an opportunity to use your strong leadership, communication, facilitation, negotiation, people … skills and capabilities to help navigate and bring important novel Rare Disease therapies to both pediatric and adult patients suffering with immunological, neurological and other chronic and life threatening Rare Diseases.


This Global Program Leadership position can be based remotely (from home anywhere in the USA) or it can be based in one of the Company’s offices located on the East Coast (HQ is located in the Boston/Cambridge area). They also have a West Coast office too where this position can be based.

  • PhD or MD
  • 10+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience with a track record of increasing responsibility
  • Proven track record of Program Leadership/Management experience, especially with later-stage assets
  • Strong communication skills, i.e. writing, oral and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively facilitate, negotiate, and influence others at all levels
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting, presenting to, and communicating with Sr. Level Management (ad-hoc & formal)
